To allow Axify to compile changes leading to deployment failures, you need to configure your incident sources.
By default, any bug item created after deployment is considered an "incident". Consequently, bug items influence the Change Failure Rate and Time to Restore metrics.
Incidents can be detected from other sources than the tool used to manage your process (Jira, Azure DevOps, or Gitlab Issue), adding these incident sources to Axify allows you to inspect all these sources in a single platform.
Note: As of March 30, 2023, this feature is only available for certain users and is only compatible with Jira. |
To set up an incident source
- To begin, access the desired Axify project, then it's project settings.
- Click the Data source tab.
- In the page that opens, click Add source.
- A window will open, presenting the data sources you have already configured (i.e. the integrations added previously).
- If no data sources have been added, you will have the opportunity to do so. Depending on the source you want to add, we invite you to consult our help articles explaining their configuration in more detail.
